Guliani: Good for NYC, good for USA?

Guliani is known for cleaning up New York City, sometimes in ways that some considered unfair. But, he got the job done. He also made some differences on the world stage within NYC. Do you think America can benefit from his kind of spunk on a nation-wide scale?

I've wondered that myself- guess we will have to wait and see his campaign standings.

It'll do a lot better under him than under Hillary, that's for certain. If people want change and safety, Guliani is their man. If they want someone who reads the polls and does nothing for fear of making a couple of people upset, they want Hillary.

Hehe, you are straightforward person, huh. I do agree. Hopefully New Yorkers will put their loyalty behind the right one, if they end up the final choices.

I agree that he did well in commanding the local authorities in New York City, but it was his only moment of glory. As Mayor before 9/11/2001, he was constantly raising taxes. Before he took office, Long Island was one of the most expensive places to live in New York State. He made the cost of living in New York City even higher. It was also during his term that a lot of racial profiling & police brutality happened. Something that New York City was famous for was the street vendors where you could stop at any street corner to buy a nice hot dog or two, or a nice pretzel to munch on. After selling vendor licenses, he outlawed these street vendors, making those licenses he sold completely useless. With the idiotic things he did with New York City (aside from acting when those planes hit the twin towers), I'd vote for anyone else BUT him.
