KFC-like rat rodeos more common than you think

One in three restaurants that has been in business more than six years has rats, folks. You just can't seen them. They tend to hide during the day and find food at night, often in the restaurant itself. They do not some out openly as in the New York KFC video that has been causing such an uproar. Construction or maintenance of some kind was going on near that KFC, and the work was being done near the rats' habitat. Another disingenuous perception is that large urban areas that appear clean on the outside are often infested with a variety of vermin underneath. Rats and New York City have long been close companions. KFC is shutting down all its locations in NYC, but a close examination of any restaurant in NYC that has been in exitence at the same location for longer than six years will reveal a certain level of rat infestation.

I saw that video few days ago. Rats are usually outdoors rodents, mice are indoors. When you see rats indoor, it is not good. I am not surprised about New York. I am shocked every time I visit N.Y, garbage bags are waiting for city to pick it up. Garbage is not in special canisters, just in plastic shopping bags. That's the heaven for rats.

Yes I think that rats are in the majority of restaurants, we do not see them so people think that the restaurants that they visit are not there but I am sure once they close for the night and little rats will of course come out for their meals. I think that it is good that they are going to close their door though so people do not get sick from the food where the rats have been.
