did you deliver early, late, or right on time?

I delivered my son 9 days early, I was so thankful, because towards the end of pregnancy everything gets soooo uncomfortable, I couldn't even sleep through the night, I was waking up like every hour or so.

i delivered a little over 3 months early. my duaghter was born at 27 weeks and was 2 pounds 2 ounces. doctors still don't know what went wrong. i just woke up one morning with contractions and i went to the doctor. i was allready fully afaced and 3 cetemeters dialated. i was admitted to the hospital and the next day my water broke and the day after that i had an emergency c-section. anyway, my daughter is doing good now. she's 3 and healthy.

I am so glad to hear she's doing well. It always scares me to hear about babies being born way to early.

I am also very glad to hear that your daughter is now doing well =) All the technology we have for the preemies now is amazing, I am soooo glad we live in a time where it is here and readily available.

My first was born 13 days after his due date, my second was 7 days after hers, and my youngest was 10 days after his due date. Babies come when they are ready, the due date really is just an estimate.

I totally agree with the due date just being an estimate, I can't believe the 1st was a whole 13 days after the due date, although my mom was 2 weeks past her due date with my brother- I guess it's just like you said, they come when they're ready =)

I guess I may be one of the few but my first son was delivered on his due date. My second son was delivered the day prior to his due date. I'm actually hoping this one will be passed my due date (so my husband will be here for the birth!) I didn't have either induced or a csection.

I worked up until the week before I had my son too, but I had many uncomfortable feelings associated with pregnancy in the end, you are lucky you didn't!

My first was 2 weeks late and my second was 2 weeks early and that equaled them being born on the same day 2 years apart. The day before I had my second one I went in for normal wekly check up. The doctor told me she was in the breeched position and if she didn't turn herself they were going to have to. Apparently she didn't like that. She turned herself around at 6 in the morning, and ruptured my water.

Wow! two years apart exactly! I wonder if they will want to celebrate their birthdays together or separately when they get older. It's weird how a due date gives you a range of a whole month when you consider the 2 weeks before and after.

They are 13 and 11 we have one really big party. My husband usually hides lolol. We usually have between 15 -20 girls running around here for the weekend of thier birthday. But I look at it this way. I only have deal with one birthday party a year, and I don't have to worry about one thinking the other's party was better than thiers lololol.

my first was born 16 days after her due date. my second is hard to say, they changed my due date several times. then he was 2 days after the last due date they gave but when he was born the dr. exclaimed "oh my god how late is this baby" i said 2 days and he said ooooh he's more than that!!! so i guess he was late too my last was exactly one week early, they were going to induce but i went into labor the day before and he was born by emergency c-section.

I delivered my son a week early. My water broke and I was 5 cm dialated before I ever even started having contractions! I laid in the hospital all night after my water broke waiting for the contractions to start...nothing. The next morning I was given the pit-drip and about 3 hours after that hard labor kicked in. After about 3 1/2 hours of that, he was born!

With my daughter she was 7 days early and my son was a few days late so I got induced with him. Both deliveries were very different but both went great!

Mine was 2 weeks early. My membrane ruptured at the restaurant when my husband and I were having dinner with our friends. It was my first pregnancy and I was just in shock. We then went to hospital straight from the restaurant. Luckily, I had prepared my hospital bag early.

I delivered both of my children early. I was also induced for both of my children. My first I was induced because of hypertension three days early. My second I was induced because they thought she was almost 10lbs so I was induced 9 days early. She turned out to be 9lbs 2oz. I am now pregnant with #3 and dont know what to expect because I have never gone into labor myself. My husband thinks they'll probably just induce agian. We'll see...
