Cereal Milkshakes

I thought I would share one of my favorite milkshake ideas with you all. I like to make healthy milkshakes using vanilla ice cream or yogurt. I fill the blender up about halfway, then pour about one or two cups of cereal in it, then add milk to level of the ice cream, and blend. You can use any kind of cereal you like; be creative. I also like to add strawberries, bananas, or pineapples (or all three), as well. It makes several servings, depending on the size of the blender and the serving sizes. They are much healthier than the cookies and candies ice cream treats you get at fast food restaurants, and they are delicious. I hope you enjoy it! I don't want to violate any tos rules, so email me if you want to find out what types of cereals I have enjoyed the most.

This does sound very delicious and I will have to give this a try as I love everything that you included in this milkshake. I love cereal, ice cream, yogurt and the fruits. Thank you for sharing this. I will have to go to the store this week and get these items and give it a try.

Oh this sounds great! I can see having this as a great treat during family movie viewing! The possibilities seem endless as to flavor of yogurt/ice cream and cereal and fruit combinations! My kids are also always looking for quick breakfast ideas and this seems to fit the bill (if made with yogurt!) Thanks !

Yummy, this sounds wonderful....and different :) Our favorite ice cream is my hubby's homemade ice cream. We like to put those crushed up whopper's malted milk balls in them, but I never thought about cereal. I'll have to tell him about that. I don't like plain ice cream, so this would definitely be an alternative. Great idea!!
