How Many Of You Poets Out There Write Songs?

I write poetry; but also songs. I used to play the guitar, so most of my earlier "poems" were actually songs. Sometimes when I'm writing, I can actually hear the melody, right down to the breaks. I'm curious to know if anyone else experiences this. How many of you poets out there are also songwriters?

I have been writing songs and poetry for years now, and my partner is a singer/songwriter too.

Hii, I'm a poet myself and I find that writing poem is entirly different from writing songs.Poems are like straight from heart ,when keywords strike u ,u feel impatient to writ on the topic.
