i was raised in a conservative family. both of my parents have pastors in their blood line, and my earliest memorier were in a church. nowadays, we seldom find people who go to church. is it still your weekly habit to go to church, or if you only have time you're gonna go to church?

I had been going every week until about a year ago. I looked around one day and realized I was only there so my "friends" wouldn't worry and so the pastor wouldn't start calling asking where I was. I felt like I was being a hypocrite for going for those reasons. I stopped going and began my own home studies. I'm beginning to miss the fellowship but know I won't return to that church if I do decide to attend services again. I feel like a relationship with God is more important than a relationship with church members. Once those relationships take priority, it's time to step back and refocus on God. I know a lot of people base opinions on how often a person actually attends service. It's as though weekly attendance equals a stronger love for God. I just don't see it that way. Our relationship with God is supposed to be personal so I can't justify going to church just to please everybody and pretend it means anything more than that. God knows my heart so I know He is not disappointed and that's all that matters.

Ya I also come from a sort of conservative family and I am still a regular church and I had always tried to be regular to church. Although I missed church last sunday due to shortage of money but I am sure that I will not miss it this timeand I like going to church cause I get to thank Lord and ask His blessings for the rest of the week and it really works out for me. May GOD Bless YOU

I don't go every Sunday. I don't want church to become HABIT FORMING for me, because then it'll be something I think I HAVE to do instead of osmething I want to do. I pray every day, and I go to church when something moves me to go.

I don't go to church every weekend, because I don't think that church should be the symbol of my being a religious person. I only go there for some ocassions, like weddings and christening of my god-child to-be. But I have nothing against the church, I just don't feel like praying along with people who are only pretending to be religious. But I pray, that is the most important thing for me. I read the bible(new testament), and learn how Christ want us to worship Him and His Father.

I almost aways go to church every Sunday unless some really stops me from going. This past Sunday it was a major snow storm. This week I have to take care of my elderly lady who is blind. I am her care taker. I usually do not work Sunday but no one will be with her so I have to go to take care of her for the first time on a Sunday.
