you are right if you don't use your yahoo account for 3-4 moths all the mails in your inbox will be deleted and after 1-2 months you will not be able to open your email account.your email account will expire.

That is true - if you are talking about Yahoo mail accounts - had a friend that had theirs set to inactive when they didn't log in for about 3 months - he contacted Yahoo and everything was fine after that. Bad thing is though - when they set it to inactive - it also wiped out his address book - which was a big pain for him to get all the email addresses added again. HTH? :)

I've gone at least a year without using my account. It is still there. They don't expire, as far as I know.

Yahoo accounts will expire after the amount of messages exceed the space available in your box. These messages have to remain there, unopened, and there has to be no account activity. It does take a while to happen, depending on if you choose any filtering, and the amount of mail you would receive on any given day. I know that this information has to be correct, because it came from yahoo. I had an account about 3 yrs ago that I wanted to close, and thats what was told to me in my email.
