Yes I have 12 times so far. Also when I have started a discussion (not very often so far though), after I have a few responses, I make a point of giving a 'best response' to the reply that I think is obviously the best. Sometimes it is hard to decide, but there can only be one best response so I give a 'best'and then a 'positive' to other good replies.
Also if I started a discussion and there was no response at all but after a week, the first person to respond with some reasonable comment, will get a 'best response' from me. LOL
Good luck to everyone, keep on making quality posts and you might find that one day you have your 'best response'. :)

Thank you, good luck and keep posting because if we all give a 'best response' or positive to the discussions then our turn will surely come to receive the same back.
I also give a 'positive' if I think someone has given a good response to a discussion started by others and also some discussions I also give a 'positive' to.

I've only gotten one best response, but that's ok as it was my very first response here. I've always been the type to come out swinging and peter out in the end. LOL

the problem is that choosing a best response would suggest that no one else is going to say something nice

Hello. You know 3 of my responses was choosen as best responses and I did not even know it. Today I just opened my profile and I was really astonished to see that 3 of my responses are choosen as best response. I even dont know which of my responses are chooosen.
