I just saw a pair of jeans advertised for $249.99. That's crazy! They were True Religion Joey T Super jeans. I'm curious what exactly these jeans have over, say, a pair of Levi's, that cost $200 less. Anybody own a pair of designer jeans? How much is the maximum you'd pay for jeans? And what makes these designer jeans so special?

Wow that is a lot of money. I wouldn't pay more than 100 USD for a pair of jeans, normally I pay around 30 USD for jeans and I would think 100 USD is a lot. I just cannot believe 250 USD, that is crazy! I am not sure if they are better, but I know in some countries the jeans are imported and their price goes way up--100 USD for just Levi's, so there may be people who pay more for them. Have a nice day.

Yeah, I think $30 is about the average price for a pair of Levi's, here in the U.S. What I find humorous is the fact that if I were walking down the street and a woman with a nice figure was sporting a pair of these designer jeans, I wouldn't notice the jeans. I might notice the figure in the jeans, but I wouldn't think to myself, 'Wow, that's a nice pair of jeans.' I think pretty much the only kind of attire I admire are gym shoes, jackets, and ties. Nevertheless, it's a rare occassion where I find one of these items so much to my liking, that I'd be willing to spend over $100 on it.

I own two pairs of designer jeans. I bought them at Goodwill for five dollars each. And as far as I can tell, there's nothing great about them but the label. They fit nice enough and they're comfortable and flattering, but not particularly more so than regular jeans without the snazzy labels. So I don't see the point to paying all the money other than to say 'I have all this money to waste'.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure, and I sure as heck wasn't go to pay the money to find out. Although, like you, I would have paid $5 to find out.

There isn't any way in He!! that I would pay more than $20-$30 for a pair of jeans. Heck, I don't even like paying $20! I'm cheap!! lol I don't see how they can be so special to cost that much! I've seen jeans though that sell for over $2,000. It's rediculous! I don't think I would ever spend $249.99 on a pair of jeans even if I were rich. Jeans are jeans in my book....CRAZZZYYYY!!!

People who buy expensive jeans like that are ridiculous..The most I would spend on a pair of jeans is40$. Designer jeans are no better than the cheaper ones-all you're paying for is the name.
