I try not to. I am not sure people will know exactly what I am talking about. I know they do this a lot on chat lines and I have not got a clue what a lot of it means. I have seen my son doing it. I guess if you use chat lines you get use to it.

When I am chatting on MSN, for example, I always use abbreviations! It helps because then i can type faster and that means I can talk to more people. Most common ones I use are: LOL - Laugh out loud G2G - Got to Go BRB - Be Right Back PPL - People SUP? - How are you doing? (although not so much anymore) CBB - Can't Be Bothered GD - Good @ - At 2 - Two/Too/To BCUZ - Because JK - Joke(ing) K/KK - Okay

Sometimes I use abbreviations specially when I don't know the correct spelling of the word. I also use abbreviations when I'm texting because it helps me cut on costs in text messaging. This is how I abbreviate my text messages. Hi how r u marian? hope ur doin fine n I hope u do gr8 hir n mylot. gudluck 2 ur onlyn erning quest.
