i wouldnt know the scientific basis for this theory, but ever since i was a little boy i have been told that sleeping immediately after a meal should be avoided. so,every night after our dinner,we would walk up and down the street to digest our food faster. and apparently we werent the only family following this school of thought, as pretty much the WHOLE colony would be out having a stroll! you would have thought that there was some social gathering or something going on. lol. i guess weight gain has also to do with a person's metabolism and their exercise routine.

yup, i used to eat a sandwich everynight at 11:00pm because i got hungry from not eating dinner and later on, my cousins told me that im gaining weight. they are also the ones who told me that it can be true that we can gain weight from eating late. the latest time to eat is at 7:30pm because its when people usually stop doing anything for the day.

Yes it does. I'd read somewhere that you need to wait at least 2 hours before you head off for a snooze. That's the time taken for your body to digest the food you eat and eliminate toxins in your body.

It will definitely lead to increase in the bodu weight , beacuae when you are sleeping ,your digestive systems wil lalso be in the rest, so a lot of food remained undigested in your body and will turned in fat in your tissues. It will also affect your digestive systems when times go by, so try not to sleep after having meal, the best thing after meal is to sit down and have a cup of tea to help digestion.
