New business opportunity.....

I recently went to a presentation for a business opportunity. It sounds like it's a chance of a lifetime, but I'm sure they all do. I really want to give this one a chance....I've seen proof that it does work. It doesn't cost a whole lot to get started and you only have to pay the amount one time. You do have to pay for the upkeep of your website but you make more than enough to do that. Plus what biz can you do with only a $50 overhead. The company has been in business for 6 years and has made the cover of a couple magazines. I am really excited about it and I really do want to do it. I have people already telling me that it won't work, blah blah....I've SEEN the checks of the man who introduced us to it....he gets paid, so why won't I? Have you ever been in a situation like this? Did you just keep it to yourself until you could show them proof that you did make money? Or did you try to get them involved? Please tell me about your experiences! Thank you, Have a great day! :-)

If your hearts in it, and you can afford it, Stephanie5, go for it. If you don't you may regret it later. If it doesn't work out, at least you can be proud of yourself for giving it a try. If it works out and you make money then .... need say no more.

Thank you for your kind words, I needed that little 'push'. And your right, if you don't try something, you'll never become anything :-) Have a great day!

I think I know what you are going through. I have also went into some busiesses online and wondered should I refer others as well. On one hand, if it turns out to be a scam, I would feel bad having drag some others into it. If it turns out well, I miss having referrals income. It is not an easy decision to make. But somehow if we do explain in clarity to others the risks involved, I would not mind referring them.

Well, I know it's not a 'scam'. They are listed with the BBB and have been in business for over 7 years. I'm just scared...it's like starting a new career. I just hope it works for me :-) I'll share when and if I become rich! Thank you for your response!

this is a tough spot and it really depends on how well you are able to network and what it entails for you to put into it or spend

i think you should better check with bbb.org (better business bureau) first before doing anything. if you didn't find anything there about the company then think 1000000 times. give us the url or the company name so that if someone have been scammed by that company or already been dealing with them can give you their opinion. most of the time, because of our eagerness to earn we became harsh just to be disappointed later on.

I checked with the BBB and they are listed and in good standing. So, that's a great thing. Thank you for suggesting that!
