Using "would" to talk about the future?

My father said that we would go to Tokyo tower for the first time tomorrow.

The wordsd "would" and "could" are used to narrate some expectation. Ex: 'Rama would have come to see my father who was in hospital.But he could not come due to preoccupation.' Am I correct?
