Ever went out on a blind date?

I have never been on a blind date and honestly do not fancy the idea much. It is always better to go on a date with a person that you know rather than walking out with anybody

I was invited to a holiday dinner by a friend from church. I thought there would be a group of us together as had often been the case. However, I showed up, and was the only guest. I was very surprised. That showed on my face, unfortunately and she realized that which put a cold spell to the meal. We didn't talk much, and needless to say, we parted company pretty soon after the meal was finished. (and the meal wasn't that good either!)

Many years ago, I was set up on a blind date by a good male friend with a guy that he worked with. We met at a restaurant on a weeknight and had a few drinks. He was very nice, and attractive but not really my type. He hadn't had much experience with women, ie-had never had a girlfriend in his life and he was 30. I liked him as a person and figured I would have liked to have set him up with some single friends of mine. All in all it was a good experience.
