Do you let her/him invite friends, small family party or what?

I think it depends on the friends actually. With a preschooler it just pays to have maybe half a dozen as five year old can get quite wild.

when we are back home we normally have our kids party at the park. we get pizza and drinks and lots of balloons and decorations and there is a basket ball court and tennis court and a baseball field so we take a ball and bat and basket ball and what not and normally take like 10 other balls for the kids to kick around and then they have the park itself to play in. the kids love it. when we were here in and not back home we took the kids to the beach for the day and bbq so burgers and hot daogs and took some salids and snacks. the kids enjoyed it.

At five I would ask them if they would like a small party at home, and who the child would like to invite. If it is going to be too big, then I would ask the teacher at school, if you could bring a cake or cupcakes in, at the end of the day to celebrate the childs birthday. If at home, just some hats and party blowers and cake and ice cream is enough.

I have seven children myself. There is no way I would want to invite a bunch of 5 year olds to my house to add to more children. ha ha Sorry, but no. I know my limit. And my seven is my limit! So, we celebrate it as a family. Heck, with seven of them, it is like a party of its own! LOL

You can send an invitation for all kids in your childs class. Invite friends and relatives. Have a small private party or a huge shin dig. It is your choice on how much you want to tackle and spend. Just make you take alot of ;pictures. So your child can remember her birthday for a life time.

i dont know where you live or what events are around you, but over here there are play parties like football, trampolining, ice skating etc. Where i used to work, we used to run these parties. In america some mcdonalds have adventure playgrounds attached, so if you do live in the states im sure there are plenty of those type of adventure playgrounds nearby.

I am a preschool teacher. Send treats to school with your child on his/her birthday if his/her teacher agrees. Maybe let him/her invite a few friends over for a play date. Alot of my preschoolers stick invitations into their cubbies/ files for their special friends to be invited to a party that they are having.
