Lets admit it, we all have dreams for our children. We do know that we should not impose our unfulfilled ambitions on our children but i am sure most parents do harbour some or the other thing about what they would want their kid to be when he or she grows up. I always wanted to be a doctor, but didnt and secretly i hope my child becomes one when she grows up.

My husband hoped our daughter will be interested in getting her MD. I hoped she will be interested in arts or music. I know we have high hopes for our children but then like any parents, I will support her whatever she wanted to do because it will be her own choice. Whatever career she will choose that will satisfy her or make her happy, we will be behind her all thru the way.

Honestly, I just want my children to be happy and succesful at whatever they choose. I have no preference as to what they do or how they get there, just that they are satisfied.

All I want for my kids is to be happy, healthy, find true love and enjoy life....As for what work they do or career they get into...so long as they enjoy it and it pays their bills and provides for them and their families then its not important...

I hope that my son becomes a professional athlete in either basketball or football, and I know his dad does too. I would like him to get a scholarship though so that he can also further his education.

As long as my child is happy and healthy, that's all that matters to me.
