They say the love of money is the root of all evil. It was in Timothy 6.10 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1TIM%206:10&version=50 Do you think this is true, Assuming true evil exists, what is its root?

It comes from within, in ones heart, that is the biggest evil.

Read that passage again. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil... First point, it is A root not THE root. A implies multiple roots. Thus, love of money is not the root of all evil. Second point, it is all KINDS of evil, not ALL evil. This is akin to saying "all sorts of evil". Kinds implies several types of evil. Thus, love of money is not the root of all evil. There is no universal root of evil. Love of money, aka greed, is one. Probably any of the "seven deadly sins" could be considered "a root of all kinds of evil". My $0.02 at the moment.
