I just wanted to clarify something, because this would take way too long to respond to everyone who has replied. I did give my kids rice cereal early on - from newborn onwards. I wanted to say that the custard thing was what was bothering me, because they were putting custard in the infants bottle. To me a newborn shouldn't be given custard or anything like that until atleast a couple of months.
