will the IT sector be consistent in providing jobs for another 30 years?

with computers getting more powerfull and clever all the time the day will come when I.T. jobs are in a minority a victim of their own technology should we not be thinking ahead and diversyfiying the present school ciriculum to expand into more practical training to equip or children for all eventuallities or we will be left with a workforce unable to adapt to change or think for themselves
