this painting is made by puffing up the puffy medium with heat on fabric and then applying fabric paints

Yes I'm familiar with this type of painting. If such paintings are framed then it looks like embroidary.

yes you are right, i have made a painting of flowers using this technique and have framed it, it does look like embroidery.. i have uploaded it on mylot in the painting section. you can view it there... :)
