All day Sing

Yesterday i went to a fantastic all day sing at New Haven Baptist Church in Sheffield Village, Ohio. Wow!! it was super wonderful. I could only stay for 4 hours but during that time i heard about 20 groups. Each group sang 2-4 songs.
My favorite The Mountain State Gospel Quartet sang "a little talk with JESUS" a song i remembered from my childhood. I have placed their picture on the group page.

"A Little Talk With Jesus" is one of the songs my husband sings.
He actually has an e-concert up on his website this weekend. The URL is in my profile.
Mac has been a life long lover of gospel music, and has stories from when he was a little boy 50 years ago and watching quartets perform. He and his brothers performed as a group when they were young adults.

Oh I am so happy that you enjoyed yourself at the Baptist Church, singing. it is lovely in a lot of the churches where you sing and also listen to others singing. Me and my husband used to be in the choir here in Australia in the Uniting Church it was fantastic we loved it.

Oh this sounds like a wonderful day. I love gospel music, the old songs seem to really touch my heart and comfort me. I also love "A Little Talk with Jesus". Our church has never done anything like this but they often host concerts - a couple years ago Ray Boltz was at our church and I was thrilled to see and hear him sing.
