Why our site or blog still not to be listed

why our site/blog which we already submitted to search engine like google,yahoo, msn, alvista and etc still not to be listed although it was long time ago.any idea from my friend here?

I'm still learning about internet marketing, but from what I have read a lot of it has to do with content. You need to post good quality articles. The more articles you post the more likely your blog will be picked up. If your blog only consists of a few posts, the blogs with more articles (content) will have a higher ranking.
