Do you BUFFY?

Buffy was one of my first lush products to really GRAB me. I always use it before I go out for silky soft skin, then I use flying fox lightly over it for the yummy fying fox smell. How many of you have fallen in love with it as well? I tried aqua mirabilis, and it just wasn't moisturizing enough for me, and YSTW just wasn't abrasive enough. I

I just finished using my first Buffy. I like the concept of it.. how it exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. I don't know if I will buy it again though. I got some terrible scrapes on me from some of the rougher scrubby bits.

I'm about to place an online order. I think I may give Aqua Mirabilis a try.

That's a shame. Maybe you would like aqua mirabilis a little better? It's not quite as abrasive, but it's also not as moisturizing.

haha, Buffy was the first product that really got me into Lush as well. That is probably one of the first products that I bought from Lush. I love how scrubby it is and definitely use it on my tush and thighs. I also use it on my elbows. I haven't tried aqua mirabilis or YSTW yet, I do like King of skin alot as well, but I use that on the non-scrubbing days.

See, I don't really have "non-scrubby" days. I would rather just wash with flying fox if I'm not gonna exfoliate.

I have Schnuggle, Buffy, and YSTW in my closet. I started with King of Skin because my boyfriend is in love with it. Honestly I'm not. It leaves a layer on me and I feel greasy. I will probably try Buffy next... when the King of Skin is all gone... or I guess I could give it to him since he likes it.

I sniffed the king of skin. I liked it, but I didn't buy it at the time. Is it a very good moisturizer?

I feel greasy when I'm done... like there is a layer on my skin. I don't feel the layer the next morning (I use this at my bedtime shower/bath). My fiance raves about how great his skin feels... My legs aren't dried out anymore... so it's worth a shot. I just don't know what the layer is about. Does Buffy leave a weird layer on your skin?

It does leave a layer on your skin. We call it the "waterproof" layer. After you towel off and sit for a while, it sinks in just like you used a massage bar or a good thick lotion, and it makes your skin SOOO soft and smooth. It's just skiping the lotion stage. I'm all about saving time like that!

I disliked Buffy, the scent made me feel slightly unwell and I thought it was too oily. Aqua Mirabilis works much better for me, I adore the scent and it's not too oily.

Buffy brough me back from the brink of insanity. That may sound a bit dramatic...but at the start of this winter, I had insanely dry skin on my shins. And it was itchy....so maddeningly itchy that I was scrathing myself raw. I tied all manner of moisturizers, Lush and other wise. I also tied 2 differnt massage bars (Each Peach, and Mange Too), neither of those really took the itch away. On a reccomendation from the Lush.com forum, I decided to buy a Buffy and give it a shot. And I was so happy I did! After just one use, the itchy, scaling and driness was 100 percent better. After a few uses, my legs were not just back to normal, they were more soft, and more smooth than they had ever been. I was toally sold.

I adore the Buffy bar. I love it for all the reasons that other people hate it. I love it because it is a bit harsher than other the other bars and that it is just soooo moisturizing. In the winter, my skin can really dry out. We're talking so bad that if I allowed myself to scratch my itchy skin, I would give myself those little hairline scratches that you didn't realize you had until you see the little red line and scabs. Gross, I know, but my skin gets in a bad way. I also get those rough dry patches on my skin. When I use Buffy, I scrub really hard ont he dry patches and they go right away. Then I will be a bit more gentle on the rest of me. I will take a few mintures before rinsing it off to let it soak in, and after my bath, I will even rub it in a little more if I'm feeling greasy. It's just so great because when I use Buffy, I don't have to use a ton of lotion afterwards. The little bit I will use (if I choose to use any) will aborb better because of Buffy as well. I know it's expensive, but I just love it so. If LUSH ever got rid of Buffy, I don't know what I would do!

I loved buffy, but I've since switched over to the nut one... I can't remember the name right now... drat. Aqua Miriabilis, that's it. I also make my own buffy at home using a recipe I got off the lush forums :) It's nice because I can scent it the way I want.

I do Buffy, or at least I do when I can afford to buy it! To be perfectly honest, I prefer You Snap The Whip for the smell and the fact it lasts a little longer, but Buffy does work wonders. The only thing that puts me off is sometimes I find it is almost TOO moisturising for my skin.. if you get what I mean? It leaves an oil slick on my bottom, which probably isn't the most attractive thing in the world.
