So my roomate's kitten is a bit of a nuthead. We have the air conditioning unit open so we can cean it, and he cat jumped up in there and got a good glob of grease on his fur. I've gotten the majority of it off, but it's still icky on his fur (and he's WHITE)....so any suggestions on how to get it off?

Actually this may sound stupidly corny but Dawn does get the grease out. use warm water and pu some Dawn dish soap on the hair where the grease it and wash it out it should work. :)

I second this. I had a roommate who put silly putty on my cat for some stupid reason. It stuck. So then he tried peanut butter to get the silly putty out. Poor kitty. Finally his wife and I gave my kitty a bath with dawn and it worked.

Take the poor baby in the bath with a bit of dish soap. It's great for getting grease out, and gentle enough on the kitty, just rub a drop on the grease and rinse him off.

When I was fifteen (a hundred years ago!) I had this beautiful grey and white himalayan, she was beautiful. She got outside and somehow found herself into a pan of old motor oil my dad kept in the back shed. OMG, it was horrible. Not only did she smell like a wrecking yard, her fur looked hopeless. I was so scared that she'd try to clean it off herself..which I'm sure she tried to. Anyway, My mom and I spent hours over the kitchen sink with shampoo and dishwashing liquid. We finally got it out enough so that I felt comfortable that she wouldn't get sick trying to clean herself. It took a good few weeks before she was back to normal. So, long story short, use the Dawn. It's probably your best bet.

That Go-Jo stuff mechanic's use for the hands. Then wipe that out with some baby wipes.
