79th Academy Awards

The 79th Academy Awards had just been held recently. I read in the local newspaper today that it is a bit boring especially Ellen DeGeneres. Since I had not have the chance to watch it in full, so I can't comment much. But I think it was not that boring based on my short watching the repeat programme. So what you guys out there think about it? Boring? or Not Boring? I would prefer Eddie Murphie to host it. tell me who is your preferred host?

I watched the whole show and personally I did not find Ellen boring. I think she did a good job and was her funny self.

Are you happy with the results / winners? For me Forest Whitaker is a very talented actor. Eventhough I have not seen most of the movies voted for the Academy, I had watched him in several movies before. I think he deserved it. The others I can not comment until I have seen their movies.

Yes I am glad he won and also Jennifer Hudson, she was a contestant on American Idol and in the movie "Dream Girls" she is an excellent singer, what a voice she has. I jumped up and down when she won best supporting actress she deserved it.
