I certainly don't pretend to be something I'm not - it's stupid and pointless. I think that when people do this, they're trying to manipulate others to get what they want, or it's because they lack self-confidence. In my opinion, life's too short to be anything but completely yourself, and honest. Some people are so worried about how others will react to them that they're never themselves, and this is very sad. If someone doesn't like me for who I am, then that's their problem and their loss. I'm happy to be me, and wouldn't dream of trying to be anything else!
