Help! Heartburn remedies, please!

please contact your healthcare provider before using the baking soda remedy. I was advised by friends to use it while I was having horrendous (what I thought was) heartburn during my last pregnancy. I used it several times, but it did not help and the sodium content was not a good thing for my condition. Anyhow, as it turned out the "heartburn" I was having was due to pancreatitis. The pancreatitis was due to gallstones blocking the common duct. do check if you have gallbladder disease and spare yourself the serious consequences of pancreatitis by not having it checked out. Gallstones and gallbladder disease is painful (although not as painful as pancreatitis) and does also produce heartburn symptoms as well. Take Care
