Recently My 21' Fujitsu Siemens MCM 212V Monitor went dead. Luckily I had some spare cash from working last vacation, so I went out and bought a 19' AMW X1900DS LCD monitor. Apart from the evident contrast ( the old 21' crt was 6 years old ) between the two, the CRT weighing 26 kilos while the LCD only about 4... what other differences are there? I personnaly, after using the new LCD for a couple of weeks find it to be much more clearer and brighter. The viewing angle is not a problem, my room being small as it is, and the visible surface is as big is, if not even bigger, than the CRT's. Also, I noticed that HD movies look much greater on the new one. What do you prefer? CRT or LCD? And why?

I prefer LCD because when I stay too long working on my P.C. I have problems with my eyes because of this old CRT. I feel my eyes tired and sometimes when I stay too lung they hurt.

Ah yes, I've noticed that too. I don't feel tired anymore after using my PC with this LCD now. Radiation levels are much more lower on LCD's than they are on CRT monitors. My browser is acting up again. I accidentally double posted. Please everybody from now on reply to the discussion above, the one with the picture. Thank You.
