What age did you start potty training?

I heard that good age would be between 18 months and 3year old...However my son is 2 year old and I am just about to start... I probably start in coming weeks...Now I am reading books and magazines and any articles about it... I read some where that it will be easier if both your kid and yourself is ready for the chalange and your kid show the sign that he is ready like: 1. He can tell you when he need to go 2. He can follow small instruction 3. He can be ocuppied for a few minutes 4. He can put on he's own clothes ( with a bit of help ) 5. He show interest in the idea of going potty... Anyway thank for this discussion I will drop by again to see what other mum are saying about it..xx
