What is your favorite sport?

My favorite sport is by far football or soccer as the americans would say. The team that I support is Steaua Bucharest. They're simply the best there is in Romania.
And as all the great teams do these days, we have 2 brasilian players in the team. The goalkeeper and a new midfielder that comes in tomorrow. I can't wait to see what he can do to help my team. I saw some short clips on youtube and he seems to be promising. He played in Brazil for Corinthians.
But I'm getting a little of the subject.

I'm a football fan too, and live in England.
Although there are a number of good teams to support, and some will laugh at me, I'm a Member of the Leeds United Supporters Club. They're doing really badly at the moment, but they're such a great club that I know they will be back up into the Premier League soon.
I listen to their matches mainly on Yorkshire Radio which is on the official team website. Saturday's game was so exciting that I was hoarse and shaking afterwards, even though we did lose 2-3. lol.

Why do you have to listen to games on the radio? Don't they broadcast them over to cable TV? That's too bad. I actually collect matches on DVD. The website of my team has a torrent tracker and I can download any game I want.
Did Leads United won any european competitions? Steaua won Champions League back in '86 against FC Barcelona.

They don't cover Leeds United on Sky any more because they're not good enough at the moment! They cover mainly Premier League games.
Yes, Leeds did win the Fairs Cup/UEFA in 1968 and 1971, but although they've always done pretty well in Europe, they could only reach Runners Up in the European Cup, in 1975 and also in the Cup Winners Cup, in 1973.

I am not a big sports fan at all. However I can sometimes get into football if a bunch of my friends are watching. I use to go to football games, they are kind of fun. I can't stand basketball or baseball. I do enjoy playing basketball video games, lol.
