Personalized wrapped candy bars are so neat and fun. I began making them for my children's parties and special events for friends and families. I am wondering if there is really a market out there for them. Do you buy party favors for your birthday parties, events, etc? What kind of favors do you buy? Would you buy wrapped candy or personalized wrappers to wrap the candy yourself?

Pardon the pun,but personally I am not fond of the wrappers. Everyone does it. I make personalized goodie bags. As if you were to buy a bag of candy and it has the brand on the front and nutritional value on the back. But on the front, I put "happy 5th birthday Joe" along with a border of what the child likes, and the back I have a rainbow colored upc bar code and instead of the numbers, I put the childs date of birth or birthday party date. For the nutritional value...Love 100% Fun 100% etc... I was selling them on eBay and they were a huge hit.

how well did you do on ebay? I tried selling my wrappers on ebay but they seem to want them way too cheap. did you make profits from ebay? have you tried to sell them any other way?

Yeah, there is alot of competition on eBay with the wrappers. I did very well. I offered 25 for $10.00. Which was the going price, but mine were on heavy paper and can pre cut. I also did them for friends and such which generated more business. I only stopped because I had went back to work. Now that I am not wokring will probably start back up. Don't give up on eBay, try branching out, do bubble labels, tic tac labels (People with a business like them) gum wrappers, I even used to make personalized temp tattoos. Your local paper place should have the film for it. Good luck.
