What powers did Hanuman have?

There are alot of claims that Monkey King is based on the Hindu God Hanuman. I don't know much about Hanuman. Anybody here know about Hanuman? What super powers he has or about his story? I am a huge fan of Monkey King. I really want to know if Hanuman is really similar to Monkey King. Any info on Hanuman would be great. Thanks.

you want to know about hindu god hanumanji..then you have to read the whole litrature for this....but ya i prayed to Hanumanji...he is full of power..he is power to fight with evil,goest....whtevr bad ..that science cant fight and believe he can fight with that....you are in states...better you visit India...a well known place..Mahndipur Balaji.....you can see and you have proof what power the Hanumanji has....untill unless you dont see with your naked eyes you cant believe this...we cant take photo from that place otherwise i will show you....in my house we prayed Hanumanji daily....and ya one thing..that power has saved my life..and ya this is true otherwise i am no more in this earth 2 year before.......where science fail....Hanumanji power will work.....
So pls visit the India...and see your self....then only you can believe the power of Hanumanji...

what sort of fighting power does he have? I know he can fly. Can he transform himself into whatever he want? Does he breath out fire, that sort of thing?
Really? Hanumanji save your life 2 years ago? What happen?
I don't think I can go to India. It's too hot. I am used to the coldness here in the States. Do you mind telling me more about Hanumanji, why he become a god.
