There are many I would love to meet and have dinner with but one comes to mind right off and that is Gene Roddenberry. I grew up watching Star Trek and in many ways it shaped my life. It showed that race and gender shouldn't matter. It taught so many lessons without you even realizing it at times. Add to that how much he foresaw that we use today let alone the items he thought of that we could have in the future. I think it would be fascinating to talk with him.

I would like to know what he thinks about cell phones, talking computers, microwave ovens and lasers. That would be a great dinner.

Che Guevara - Che Guevara a revolutionist in Cuba
Defineately Che Guevara. I would love to be inspired by his philosophy on life. We so desperately need more men like him, but alas this does not seem the case!!

I like your choices but I think I would chose Gandhi. He also had a sense of humour but also was a man of the mind. Of all the men in history he would be my choice.

I think it'd be interesting to have a conversation with someone like Julius Caesar or Socrates. Also would be interested to see George Washington's views on modern America and how it differs from what he and the other founding fathers may have intended.

I like George. The only president that had to be talked into taking the job and left after only two terms. It would be interesting to know what he thinks of our modern day presidents.

I would prefer to have that dinner with Vladimir Lenin, Abraham Lincoln and Mahathma Gandhi. They belong to the same period and they dedicated their life for the whole of human race. Their ideology differed in many ways, but they stood for their causes firmly and their obsession for their reasons were remarkable. They influenced millions and millions of people. It would be wonderful to be in their company for dinner.

Che Guevara. I guess one can have a sophisticated discussion with him on a lot of political and historical issues. I'd definitely enjoy it!

I would love, love, love to have dinner with whoever the story of Arthur, Merlin and the knights who helped build early Britain was based on. I would love to know who the people were and what tribe or area they came from, as everyone wants to claim Arthur.
