While playing online games or just communicating with friends online what do you use? I know there is voice chat on MSN as well but I don't really use that. The first guild I was in, in World of Warcraft we used Ventrilo. Then when I switched guilds we used Team Speak. To be honest, I think I like Ventrilo. Any opinions on this matter?

Most games offer live voice chat. Others, you have to type in their user interface and that's quite time consuming not to mention it'll take your fingers off the controls and out of the game field.

Yes, there are a lot of games out there that you can play on the PC or console that offer it that is built right into it. I know games such as Halo and Gears of War, you just hook up a mic and you're good to go!
