I love to personalize my homepages. I just like to feel comfortable even when I am online. There is this great site that makes it easy to red all of your email , your favorite news and other things from one page. Have you ever heard of NetVibes? Well NetVibes allows you to make one single page that you can use to keep track of everything that you do while you are online including all your favorite pages in one place. Now wouldn’t that make life easier for you? It is so simple to set up your own page: First you will need to Go to NetVibes Web site at http://www.netvibes.com/ and create yourself an account. To Start an account click on the Sign In link in the very top right hand corner. From there, click on the "Sign up now" button under the New User section. You only need to enter in your e-mail address and choose a password. Click on Sign Up when you're done. You can then check your email and all of the additional information that you need will be there for you. Once you have started your account, you are ready to do the fun stuff. You are ready to create your own page by picking the modules you want included on your page. There are so many to choose from . To add the site that you want on your page, simply click on it and drag it to the open page on the left. Unclick and voila you have added it to your page You can also add different email accounts to your page. The email list will also lets you add MEEBO. MEEBO lets you Im with more than one IM service, all at the same time. You can even keep up with your eBay account, your myspace or your flickr photo account (I don’t even know what Flickr photo is but I thought you may have one. Lol) You can also search for anything from the NetVibes page by using the Web Search Box. Or, you can add other types of search boxes if you like to search for images or videos. How cool is that? NetVibes has so many Web sites you can add, you may find your page to be a little too crowded like I did. This is not a problem! You can make a new page (or “tab”) by clicking on New Tab button and typing in a name for it. For example, below, some tabs created were My News, Sports, Money and Pictures and Friends. What would a personal page be without the weather. I go check on the weather mutiple times a day. You can add the weather, your to do list, post notes to yourself or even check your personal calendar. I am really enjoying my new page. I am still working on it to get it just the way I want it but that is ok. I love to have all my things in one place and I love to personalize them to fit my personal needs. NetVibes is an easy way to keep track of everything you like to do on the Web. And, best of all, it’s Totally FREE . You can't beat that.
