I want to open a account on here so I decided to check out PayPal. But I dont want to use a credit card, I know that I can use my bank account but I am very hesitant. Anyone have any solid advice?? Can I use something different than PayPal on here?

I use paypal. When I first opened it, I got a extra checking account to use with it. I was worried about something bad happening. Of course nothing ever did. I even won a $25 award on one of their contests. AS for E-Gold, I know nothing about them. I don't even know if you get credit for referrals or not there. Good Luck!

I use egold fairly often,it is simillar to a prepaid card, you need to buy gold and deposit in your account otherwise you have nothing and cant spend as thay dont use your bank account or credit card and you can make money if someone joins with your ID. Worthwhile to check the egold site and learn about it...

Other that E-Gold and paypal, do you know of others that are just as reliable as paypal? These are the only two i have heard of yet.

Paypal is reliable & there's no need to hesitate to be hesitant because its not neccessary to use credit card or use your bank details to sign up for paypal account. Just sign up for free & request money from them in the form of check to your residencial address.

PayPal is the benchmark for online payments. You do NOT have to register your bank with them to send or receive money from them They offer a debit card for members to use for withdrawing money, or you can use it just like any other debit card. The security at PayPal is topnotch. Sometinmes it can be a pain, like when they froze my account after I signed up for a program that was not one of my normal expenditures, but they called me to verify that I had actually authorized the payment, and unfroze my account immediately. If PayPal is available in your country, it is your best option. As for E-gold, it is secure, but it is alos governed by the current rate for gold, which has been known to fluctuate on an hourly basis at times.

I have been using paypal for at least 8 years and have never had a problem with the security of my information. They are an extremely reliable company with major security protection. I wouldn't worry about giving your information to them -- just MAKE SURE, you don't open emails claiming to be from them and give any personal information. The only time you should give your information is if you actually type in paypal.com in your browser and enter your login information. Never do it from an email. But, with that said, paypal is great, it will open all sorts of doors for you since it is so widely accepted nowadays.

Thanks for the info, I just want to be careful with what I do before i actually do it. And having anyone other than myself access to my account is something I certainly need to make sure of. Thanks

Just my own take. I have made payments using paypal for many times and have been encountering no problems. I like it that they send you an email notification (not sure if it is something that you need to turn on manually) when you make payment - so that at least if someone uses your account illegally, you will be informed. In fact, I think you would be better off using a credit card than a bank account. Reason is that most credit cards protect against fraud - not so for bank accounts.

wonderful point, I never even thought of that. Good thing I asked before I did it. I just want to be careful, I am quite new to this and I have heard of so many horror stories about people losing their savings and identities etc..,I dont want that to happen to me..Thanks for posting.

you can use e-gold because its not need credit card or bank account. you can sell your e-gold account balance to e-gold trader at you country. Egold is the best way because many of making money online program accept egold. hope this can help you
