finding lost friends...how do we go about it?

hello there, i have this one friend i want to know where he is now. i came to know him at IYS (international youth service). its an organization for people who loves to write letters. He comes from West Germany, and his name is Frank Taubenheim. I know he is employed and loves photography. i wanted to write him a letter again but i know he kept changing residence. i tried at yahoo people search but then again he might not be as techno. oh please help if you have other ways to search for people.
