Dog menace in Bangalore.

A few dyas ago one small boy of 4 years old was mauled by a few stray dos in Bangalore. it has become a big menace. This is the second incident in a months time. What do you think? Should major Indian cities shoudl be cleared of stray dogs? Does simple sterilization which is painstatingly slow work?
