Once I had a crow. His name was Wax. I asked for a talking bird from an uncle in the boondocks but insted got a crow. I really was very intrested in having a pet bird then. One day I had to leave for the big city to get a licensure exams and came back 3 months later. I thought wax would have forgotten me. But to my amazement, he didnt. He wagged his tail like a dog when he saw me. It really made me happy. Do you have any experiece like mine?

When I was young my dad brought home an injured baby crow. He kept it in our old rabbit hutch until his wing was mended and he could fly on his own. His name was George. We were sure it was George that used to sit on the wire and caw hello at us every day. Now I am older but I still love crows, they are just so smart. I carry a bag of peanuts with me at all times and drop them to the crows. They can tell at an instant that it is food and swoop the peanuts are gone. On pay days they follow me to the bank and wait outside for me to re-emerge. They also recognize my car and when hubby pulls up to get me after work they line up on the wires and wait for me!

No, I can't say I've had an experience like yours. My pet bird was a little green demon, that would spit seeds at me while I slept at night. He would never shut up and was in general a mess. I don't even know where my parents got him or why. All I know is that he made my life a living nightmare for 3 years. ha..I miss that silly bird.
