Do unknown phone calls make u nervous?

all these calls used to make me nervous, silent calls and marketing organisations. I got my number on the caller preferences service, which means i get no direct services calls at all, unless i contact them first. Secondly, i have a caller display unit, so if i get a with held number, or the call comes from a number i dont recognise, i ignore the call and check to see if they leave me a message. We don't get many of those calls, but when we did yes they can make a person nervous as now days it is a sure way to get your personal info like Bank account or even your Social Security number from you. We have caller ID and also our phone number is unlisted so that might be why we don't get them. Not even my daughter can call and get our number if she should lose it. The operator would call and tell me that she is trying to call. It has even been on the News to be very careful of giving out any personal info over the phone. Here they have been calling Seniors and they seem to easy targets on giving out to much info, even their credit card numbers and turn around and wonder what the call was even about. So word of advise is to be very careful, ask them questions, ask for a number to call them back to see if it is really a business....Otherwise don't give any info over the phone...
