how to handle sensitive person with allow dose cloroquin?

this is my personal experience that when i went to PAPUA (east Indonesia) i think i got malaria disease. So, i took Resochin (Cloroquine 250mg) day I: 4 tablets, day 2:4 tablets. Before i want to continue my treatment to third day for 2 tabs, i got the side efect of this substance (cloroquin). As it write down on the package, i felt completely become Diplopia, Dizzines, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea. So, i end to consume it before completing the treatment. As i know, like the antibiotic, if we consume it not follwing the right rule, our body could get some ressistance. But how do you think we could keep continue as it recommended dose if we through bad with the side effects? could we minimize the dose, or maybe substitute it with another malaria medicines such kina, primaquin, etc? second experience happened to one of my patient, after i gave him treatment with cloroquine, the same side effects also he felt. Because threre's no other way, no any medicines so i just treated him with infus dx 5% and quinine drips 750mg, antacids, paracetamol,and i let him know that he is under influence of cloroquine effects. Tomorrow, he got better. So, be careful with cloroquine!
