i agree with u , he is areal hero, but he is not consistent enough and cricket is all about consistency its just not enough 2 hit a six and then get out, u need to be consistent as well as u should have a good strike rate in ine day cricket to be succesful!!

if there is one player who sets the pulse racing every time he comes out to bat,its got to be afridi. with afridi at the crease, there's never a dull moment. he is the kind of player who draws fans to the stadium, and when he gets going, the hysterical fans are bound to get their moneys worth. his lusty hits and meaty bloes make the spectators hungry for more and the frenzy he generates is to be seen to be believed! also the way he gives the opposition an earful just spices up the game! but despite all his god given talent, he hasnt done justice to his potential and is yet to take his place as a genuine all rounder. its his hot headedness that lands him in trouble. also he wears his heart on his sleeve and gets carried away too easily. i remember seeing his interview once where he confessed that every time he heard the crowd chant his name and ask for a big blow, he tries to oblige them. if only he can get a bit more selective in his shot making, then he can be a devastating force to reckon with on any given day.

No, I disagree because of his batting skills. He has a very poor technique and is fit for only limited versions of the game.(50 and 20 overs).I don't really see him plan out any innings. Yes, he is exciting to watch and with all teams now playing 20-20, he should be the best player for his team in 20-20 cricket.
