W.T.F is going on with guantanamo bay

why is there people kept in that place, living in appaling conditions, and not even being charged with the crimes they are supposed to have done.i watched 60 ins last night, they couldn't even see the australian david hicks, he was caught training with the taliban, all the evidence they seem to have, is a couple of photo's, one holding a R.P.G, big deal, then there was the english guy that was arrested in afganistan, why was he arrested, because he had the audacity to go there for a holiday, 21/2 years later he got released.
now tonight on the news, the lawyer for hicks is going to be court marshaled, why because he questioned the U.S military legal system.now don't get me wrong, if there is any thing for those people there to answer for, convict them and sentence them, but i hardly find it fair, that they can be held for years without being charged and sentenced, they wont keep U.S citizens in there, but they think it is ok for the rest of the worlds people, now nobody can voice their opinion against the U.S, it,s not a fair system, what do you think.

It's disgusting. What we have done using the excuses we have used, will be such a black mark on our history. Generations will see our actions and point out exactly why others hate us so and we will have to pay the price for our actions for generations to come. THis administrations actions since 9-11 has made us a bigger target by a billion-fold. How are we ever going to get out of this mess? And it's not just Guantanamo, as all the issues are connected--lies upon lies upon lies--all for someone who wanted to make ammends for the past between his "daddy" and his nemesis PLUS money money money. SO SAD--you would THINK people who believed in GOD would behave in a way that GOD WOULD APPRECIATE.--thanks for the vent.

i have to agree with you, i allways thought the citizens of the u.s had the right to freedom of speech, but it looks like you will get court marshaled if you do, and the latest on our news, someone ( can't remember the name ) advised the administration that there were no weapons of the sort to start the war, our own government is getting a lot of flack over this issue too, they have been told to ask for hicks and he will be returned, but they wont, 9-11 woke up the world that we are not 10 ft tall and bullet proof
