India in Olympics...!

We lack in all field. When we won medals in hockey their is no politics in hockey. but politics changes all hockey. even IHF president is not changeable. last 20 year their is no new president in hockey unlike Cricket. Now we won medal only where a single participant is take part like in tennis leander paes,in Shooting.But we lack in Field games due to administration.

ohh man, where do i begin with on whats wrong with india at the olympics! the list is endless! the reason that india sucks at olympics is because of the way we neglect our sports persons. barring cricket, no one gives a damn about any other sport in this country. the way these athletes toil inspite of being given a stepmotherly treatment is pretty heart wrenching. there are no proper facilities and the indian olympic association seems to be stagnating under its incumbent chief, who by the way, i feel has served long enough! its been forever since he's been on the post! but primarily i think we indians lag behind is because we simply are not a nation actively involved in sports. the sports culture is pretty absent in out nation. as we get older, we wean away from sports. even the kids nowadays are shying away from sports! there is way too much hard work as an athlete, especially in india, so its not deemed a viable option of earning one's living.
