Wake up Loom Knitting people

Ok i joined mylot almost a month ago now, maybe about 3 weeks ago. Loom knitting is one of my new hobbies. So wake up all you other loon knitting fans. I would like to know who out there in mylot land likes to use the loom knitters? I am a newbie at it, the only thing i have made so far is a scarf for myself and some squares for a Warm Up America project my church is doing. I would love to hear from other people who like to do loom knitting as a hobby.

I have been hearing alot about loom knitting but have not purchased a loom yet. I am planning on purchasing one the next time I go to Dr. They have a lot of craft stores in the town that I go to see my drs at.

I know next to nothing about loom knitting ,but I am open to gifts of any kind :-P Just kidding.Hope you hear from the right ones out here in the Mylot land soon.:)

thanks for the comment. LOL i dont think you want a scarf from me just yet. I think im going to Joanns on sunday and taking their newbie class in it to find out what im doing wrong still. LOL

I use to loom knit when I was younger. I had one of the little kits for beginners that you could make potholders with. I enjoyed it too. I made a lot of potholders. I would love to be able to make scarfs. Maybe I will take it back up.

i dont loom knitt,but my grandkid loves to do it an i really love watching them make things,i take them to a craft store an they buy all kind of diffrent colors of loom to make table spreads.for their dresser.an plus they give them away for xmas gifts.i even have a blanket that they made me.you talk about being heavy..lol it is!

im still pretty new at loom knitting. A lady at work started making them and she got me hooked. I am still not that great at it but im learning. Joann's has a newbie class this sunday and i think im going to go because i keep making mistakes and i want to find out what im doing wrong. Since i will be out of work by this summer i think this will be a easy and cheap way for this coming Christmas.

Hello, I am finding a hard time when looking at hobbies finding a loom knitting spot. I am so glad that I found someone that also is on myLots and enjoys looming.
I am working on making a few purses with beads at the bottom.
What are you working on?
