How about you prove to us that God really doesn't exist?

I've been thinking about this for quite some time. How about those who don't believe in God prove that God really don't exist? What convinced you that God do not exist? How about the truths about palm prints, etc, how were you able to contradict these truth and convince yourself that there's no God?

In logic you learn it is impossible to prove a negative. If I was to tell you that a giant pink rabbit created the Universe as preposterous as it sounds there is no way to disprove it. The burden of proof is always upon the person trying to prove their case. As in a court of law the district attorney must prove the defendent guilty beyond a reasonable shadow of a doubt. The defendent does not have to prove that they are innocent only show that the prosecution has not proven them guilty.

"If I was to tell you that a giant pink rabbit created the Universe as preposterous as it sounds there is no way to disprove it." ROFLMFAO OMG I LOVE IT!! and it really is possible since "anythings possible" ;-) LOL that is just too funny..thanks so much cause I really needed that laugh right about now :-D "The burden of proof is always upon the person trying to prove their case." I agree.....I dont believe in god, any god be it Christian or otherwise....now its all fine and well that Christians for example claim I'm mistaken, how wrong I am, how sad that is (my not believing) blah blah blah...but I have yet to have it PROVEN to me....and until it can be without a shadow of a doubt, no if's and's or but's about it...I'll continue to NOT believe.......And in all honesty...even if it were proven to me...it wouldnt change my beliefs in the slightest...Why would it ya know?

Oh it will be proven to you, no doubt. The thing is...it may be too late for you when you do see Him face to face.

I believe in God. I am a Christian. Those who do not believe in God will always tempt the believers to prove the existence of God and they will never prove that there's no God. They always have alibis and they say that the burden of proof lies upon the positive - the believers of God. They do not accept the tangible proofs presented by the believers - the Holy Bible, all things that we see, and their own selves. Believing is faith and so let those who do not believe in God cling to their belief that there's no God. Well, I believe that these people actually believe in God but they don't know that what they are believing in is God. They are very curious to know more about God so they keep on pestering the believers to prove the existence of God. That's very good, isn't it?

There is no way for me, using log and reason, to prove that God does not exist. I can not prove that Zeus does not exist but my common sense tells me he does not. If something dose not exist it just doesn't. It can't be proved. The onus of proof lies with the person claiming the existence of something.

That depends on what you perceive God to be, I think.

I truly and completely believe there is a God in the world, which one is the correct one for the individual that's really up to them and God to decide. I believe that some people are meant to be Christian where others are meant to be Jewish. I think that every person will that should be with God will get their calling one day just as I did when I walked into a Christian church (first time ever because I was Catholic) for the first time in 7 years and haven't looked back since. Everyone out there that believes in a God believes in THE GOD! *** The term God is used to designate a Supreme Being ***

I agree, I dont think you can prove or disprove that god exists because it's all a matter of a point of view, or opinion (or faith). Like the first comment, that person has taken a point of view about the earth and came to a conclusion about God, but other people will dispute that point of view in a way that could be considered to be equally valid. If we are talking about the Christian God, whether a person believes him or not, is in fact not the most unimportant question, this God want people to trust and obey him, which of course is an entirely different kettle of fish

I believe in One God. Everything in world is so balanced that it can only be one God who can control all this. Only one reason out of thousands.

It's not possible to prove whether God does or does not exist. Whether it ever will be possible to prove is up for question, but right now I don't think you'll find any clear proof one way or the other. I do very much think that people who say they believe God doesn't exist should be prepared to question their beliefs and to justify their beliefs just as much as anyone who believes God *does* exist, though. Both beliefs are beliefs, and as such should be questioned. So often today, atheists question theists and demand proof and explanation of their beliefs. Why should it not be the other way around equally? Still, it's nothing to do with providing proof, because none of us can do that - rather, it's to do with supporting and questioning our beliefs rather than making judgements and refusing to think about why.
