People don't always say everything on their minds. If they do that, there will be no secrets! People are generally known to be hard to satisfy because they are never satisfied when there is someone better than them. :P

I believe that when we seek to EXPAND, it doesn't mean that we are not really contented. Expansion is a quality that is our souls that seek to realize our fullest potential amd gain more knowledge. Those rich people will be too bored if they won't venture into another challenge. That is their way to grow and to expand their horizons and that money is no longer the most importatn issue.

I still remember the time I was a trainee getting a salary of $1 and it was just enough for my expenses. Today I earn about $1000 which is just enough for my expenses. It is the same for someone earning $1000000 per month. They have different needs and more commitments.

i am contented with what i haev as i know that i have enough. had i been in a poor state of affairs i would have bothereed to have more adn would nnot have been contented. i think my needs are little and are more or less taken care of. if i think of the future i do have plans but then i am happy with the way things are.

There is an old saying that goes: You are successful, if you get all that you want. You are happy, if you want all that you get. Usually the people who figure in all the celebrity list are those who are successful, but then there are really very few people who are happy. I had this one experience that changed my outlook, I was earning a fat salary for a fresher and was a man on the move so to speak. Whereas one of my friends as talented as me if not more was going in for a public job that paid peanuts literally. I once asked him why don't you go for a private job and earn a lot of money. He cooly looked at me and said what would you do if you earn a lot of money, I said that I would buy this and that, then he asked what next, I said that I would get a car, a house etc., then what then take a vacation, then what, then I said enjoy with my family. He cooly looked at me and said, that is what I currently do. I go home at 5:30 p.m. to be with my family and enjoy the time I spend with them. I am paid less by the company and more by my family. That really shook me and my ideals. Since then I have tried to be contented with what I have. It was very difficult to begin with, but I am reaching a state where I am gettting contented with what I have. Cheers! Ram
