I think a DSL connection is better because is faster, has less security problems than a wireless connection and also wireless can have problems of interference.

I have dsl and it is very fast. I have heard some bad stuff about wireless...like if there isnt a good signal you will keep getting disconnected. I believe wireless is also very costly. In my opinion Dsl, or cable, are the best choices.

I have a DSL account and I bought a wireless router so I all my pc at home can connect to the Internet without having to run wires around the house.

hehehe why use one if you can utilize both ..? that is a clever one. but in my case i'm living in a flat, i will eventually apply for a DSL line due to the positive feedback I received from you, having a wireless router will mean every person with the range can connect in my server. correct?

We are having a wireless type run by Smart Bro. But if Globe Broadband is available in your area, it is the better choice. It seems like DSL is plagued with a lot of problems, so my kids didn't push through with it. It was our choice over the wireless one at first but friends who are being serviced by DSL discouraged us. So far, we find it fine with our wireless. But we hope to be able to try how Globe Broadband works. We were told that its performance is very reliable.

I heard that Smartbro, my brother is actually a smartbro subscriber. and he said wireless is good coz no need to use and apply for a telephone line. In kuwait it is different.. whether you will use wireless or dsl you must have a telephone line..etc etc. I'm now using my DSL :)

I have had both and actually prefer DSL. I have had it for over 2 years now and have had no problems whatsoever. It is very fast and very efficient.

yeah.. i also thinking it that way. one of the advantage of having a wireless is for internet connections of portable devices such as laptops, palm.. and mobile... thanks.

I prefer DSL!! I've heard a lot of wireless users having trouble with their connections. And another is wireless is more expensive than DSL of course.
