Ok as i sit here at work, doing a day of boring paper sorting, so then it can be scanned and then in a couple days i can vertex it into the computer system,my mind day dreams to mylot LOL. I am rather suprised at myself, but in a good way mind you. I have been a member of myspace for probably a year and half and have never written a blog there. My boyfriend writes one daily, or at least tries to. I log on to myspace to into the blog section and come up blank. Maybe its because on myspace they only want to hear about yourself and nothing else. Its funny, I join mylot and now i have written quite a bit here. I am just amazed that I can come up with something to write about. I guess i will have to keep a notebook handy since it seems I can come up with something to write about now. OK LOL enough of my babbling. So what does anyone else think is it easy for you to come up with ideas to discuss and write about? Bytheway, Whate are some other good sites that DO pay you to write and posts and not ones that are scams and are a waste of your time.???

Gather.com seems to be a nice place to share writing. You can earn points towards gift cards, I think, but I just joined and am not sure how you really earn points and can get paid for it. I do have another site that pays you for writing articles, reviews, etc. PM me and I'll send you a referral link. I really like that site, and just got paid $10 for ONE article I wrote!!

I hear you.I am loving the Mylot experience so far.I haven't posted many discussions ,but that's not because I am short on ideas or questions and now that I am reading more of my friends finding it difficult to find interesting discussions,I am planning to get started.Hopefully I won't disappoint myself and others ( toes crossed :-P) Don't know about Myspace though.Never been there.Heard a few things here about them and always thought I'd do it next and then I forget it ,lol.I don't know any sites paying for posts ,but I am sure the ones who are in the loop will be posting links for you.Happy hunting.

Once you get the hang of thinking about writing, as it seems you have, you get better at getting ideas. I know of a couple of sites that might be good for you to expand your writing skills. Just message me and I will give them to you. No muss, no fuss. I just don't think its good to give away the good stuff to just everyone who happens on a discussion with a link!

i don't know why you thin MySpace blogs have to be all about you and what is going on in your life. They can be anything you want. You can rant and rave, you can post something you want to become a discussion...it can be ANYTHING.

yea right i have tried and i have seen friends blogs and people have commented on my friens blogs, and this is what they have said gees, nice blog but next time why dont you write about yourself since thats what the blogs here are about. So since i seen that i dont bother. If you also see my other discussion about myspace they have become VERY VERY BORING!!!

I have only written one blog on myspace and got no responses on it. :( probably because I don't know anyone there. I haven't written a discussion as of yet, but I will. My friend says she writes about things she is interested in and things that are in her life at the time. She's done pretty well as far as responses goes. I'm not sure of any other sites that really do pay you to write and post. My friend said she tried dormcheck but I recently heard they closed down. Plus she didn't like dormcheck. She came right back to mylot and has been here and only here ever since.

I am not sure that we are allowed to post the sites on mylot. I may be wrong but I think it is against the mylot policy.

LOL - I've had a page at myspace for over a year and never did anything with it - a couple weeks after I joined mylot I went on myspace and stuck an article on my blog about mylot with my referral link. Haven't done anything else with it since. I'm looking for good paying sites too - I did check out a few this afternoon but didn't sign with any yet. Slow this week, no writing assignments :(

Yeah, I'm feeling the same sort of surprise. I never went back to myspace- I don't even know if my profile is still listed. I had another blog somewhere, I don't even remember where! I was trying my hand at blogging for the purpose of hosting affiliate sites. I, too, seemed to go blank when trying to write there. Here, at mylot, I get caught up and sometimes it's all about reading what other people are posting. Sometimes I'm satisfied without posting at all. Maybe I'll follow your example and keep a notebook of idea for discussions. Right now, all my ideas seem to have to do with the challenges of married life. Next month, hopefully, I'll be so involved with my new career that my discussions here will reflect that.

Good for you that you are writing. I am not a myspacer, but I have tried to write blogs other places on the net with no success. I agree with you, there is something about this place that truly inspires. I am new here and I think for me it has something to do with the money, but I feel there is more to it than that. I like the idea that we can help each other make money as well. :) p.s. your kitty is so very cute.

Well, I have never gone to MySpace and likely never will. I wouldn't even be here if a friend hadn't been a pest! LOL. I find that I spend so much time reading other people's posts that I forget what I ws going to write and so I just write nothing! HaHa! What an oaf!But I'm enjoying myself and that is the only reason I stay. Not really caring about the money. I try to avoid the discussions that I know will make me mad and just have fun.
