is there ice in your fridge everytime...?

My husband brings home a 20 pound bag of ice about once a week. I like lots of ice in my drinks. We actually have an icemaker, but my husband keeps putting off hooking it up. So until he hooks it up. He has to carry in big bags of ice. :-)

I have 6 ice trays in my freezer. And somehow, I always end up being the one to fill them back up. My husband and daughter seem to be of the mindset that the trays will just magically fill themselves. I tried, once, to just leave them on the counter, but that didn't work. They just sat in the same spot, untouched. So I ended up, grumbling and griping, filling them up again.

I hate going to the freezer for ice and the ice trays are empty!!!!!!! I have spoken with my husband about that. Now, what we do is as soon as we take some ice out. Even if it is only 2 or 3 cubes we immediately fill those missing ice cube holes with water. Another thing I have done is set a plastic container in the ice box and fill the container with ice cubes and refill the ice trays so that there will always be ice either in the bowl or in the ice trays. Whenever someone takes ice out of the tray dump the rest of it in the bowl and refill the trays. Mainly, it will take consistency. If not, you may have to buy a fridge with the ice maker, but doing the other two suggestions costs much less. Maybe buying more ice trays may help. Best of luck

I have two ice trays, what I do is I have a plastic container in the freezer and keep ice cubes in there. Every time I see the container going low I fill it up from the ice trays so there is always ice available. Yes, I usually am the one filling the trays and container.

We hardly ever use ice in our drinks. We have ice in the fridge sometimes in the summer, and sometimes when we have guests that will have a mixed drink. Most often no ice can be found in my house.

yes we always have ice on our freezer. right after we emptied the tray, we fill it up. its hot here in the philippines that's why we always make sure that we have plenty of ice on stock!
